Online Craps Rules might look complicated, but here at River Belle Online Casino we have simplified things a bit by providing you with an easy to reference betting chart (see below). Why a betting chat you ask? Simply because the most important rule of playing Craps is – ALWAYS understand the type of Craps bet you are placing! The history of Craps is also well documented and even controversial to some.
Types of Online Craps Bets
Bet Number 1 – The Proposition Bet
This is the simplest bet to make while playing Online Craps – A player must bet on rolling one of the following numbers:
Any Craps: The player wins on a 2, 3 or 12 roll. The payoff for the win is 7:1 Seven: The player wins on a 7 roll. The payoff for the win is 4:1 Eleven:The player wins on an 11 roll. The payoff for the win is 15:1 Ace Duece: The player wins on a 3 roll. The payoff for the win is 15:1 Aces or Boxcars: The player wins on a 2 or 12 throw. The payoff for the win is 30:1 Horn Bet: The player wins on a 2, 3, 11 or 12 throw. All other bets count as a loss.
Craps Bet Number 2 – The Hardway Bet
Two dice are rolled and the result is the same number – See the table below for the specific bets and payouts
Craps Bet Number 3 – The Pass Line Bets
The Pass Line Bet occurs when the “come-out” roll is a 7 or an 11 (a win for the player) or a 2, 3 or 12 (a loss for the player). If any other number is rolled this roll becomes a “Point Roll”. This means that the same number MUST be rolled before a 7 if the player is to win. If a 7 comes up the player automatically loses.
Craps Bet Number 4 – The Don’t Pass Line Bet
When playing the Don’t Pass Line Bet the player wins if the “come-out” roll is a 2 or 3. If a 7 or an 11 is rolled the player looses. However, if a 12 is rolled the turn is declared a “push” and neither the player nor the house wins (a draw). If the player rolls a “point” on the first roll a seven must be rolled before the point is repeated for a win.
Craps Bet Number 5 – The Come Bet
This Online Craps Bet is the same as the Pass Line Bet except it allows players to set their own “point” after the table point has been established.
Craps Bet Number 6 – The Don’t Come Bet
This is the same as the Don’t Pass Bet! It is the opposite of a Pass Bet.
Craps Bet Number 7 – The Big Six or Eight Bet
If a six or eight is rolled by a player before a seven the player automatically wins.
Craps Bet Number 8 – The Field Bets
A player wins if a two, three, four, nine, ten or a twelve is rolled. If a player rolls a two the win is doubled and if a twelve is rolled the win is tripled. All other winning rolls are even money wins.
