The Casino Regina is located in the Saskatchewan province of Canada. Unlike an online casino or iPhone mobile casino, the Regina is only open from 9 a.m. to 4 a.m. and is closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The casino does attract an estimated 2 million people to the Regina region each year.
The Regina is a smaller facility, so players can't expect the same selection of games they would find at an online casino or larger physical casino. Currently, the resort has less than 800 slot machines and under 40 tables.
Within the limited selection, players will find the most common casino games, including poker and blackjack. The Casino Regina does offer poker tournaments and slot tournaments to interested players.
Regina Dining Options
The casino offers four dining spots: the Last Spike Restaurant, the CR Express, the CPR Lounge and the Whistle Stop Café. The Show Lounge, an entertainment venue, offers appetizers and drinks during performances.
The Show Lounge does offer a brunch on Sunday mornings, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $12.50 for members of the casino's Players Club and $15 for non-members.
Regina players can join a Players Club. Members earn points by spending money at the casino. The points may be redeemed for discounts and cash backs. A player may trade in 800 points for a $5 voucher toward the slot machines, while 1000 points are redeemable for $5 in cash backs.
The Casino Regina is limited by its floor space for games. Players of online casinos are used to seeing new games to play soon after their release, but a physical casino doesn't change games as quickly.
Since the Regina does not have an attached hotel, the only gaming money bonuses a player will earn come through the Players Club. Online casinos offer player deposit matches and other rewards that are often more generous.
