A must see for anyone interested in a truly heart-felt look into the life of a high rolling gambler. Starring Michael Imperioli, playing Stu Ungar, (Stuey), a high roller famed for being the only poker player to ever win three WSOP Main Event tournaments. This movie is certainly not going to give you the thrill of a fast-paced roulette wheel, but rather will give a snap shot into the life of a man who once had everything. The film is captivating in that it shows all the glorious highs, as well as the devastating lows of a man who eventually lost all his money at the track.
Ian Fleming’s ‘Casino Royale’ cannot go without a mention…I mean who doesn’t like a Bond movie?! This is a Bond movie set in a casino, starring Daniel Craig. Taking on an evil villain in the form of the poker-playing Le Chiffre (“The Cypher” or “The Number”). This guy is seriously creepy…in addition for being renowned for his torturous ways, he suffers from haemolacria, which causes him to weep blood out of a damaged vessel in his left eye! The all-or-nothing show down at the felt in Monte Carlo is unforgettable. Can you imagine playing poker with a blood weeping fiend?!
One of the greatest feel–good true stories of the twentieth century, Seabiscuit is a fabulous classic rag to riches yarn. Not a classic gambling casino movie, this film deserves a mention as it shows raw human spirit, and a man and beast relationship that takes a gamble and triumphs in a life gamble that truly pays off.

This suspense-filled thriller has a nail-biting finale that is worthy of arguably one of the best movies of all time.
